Caroline Chisholm is a two-storey federation building set in extensive landscaped grounds in Lane Cove. The home is a medium sized facility with 79 beds, surrounded by beautiful gardens and wide verandas where our residents enjoy spending time with their loved ones.

Caroline Chisholm is situated close to beautiful rivers and bays, which provide ideal opportunities for outings. Friends and family are more than welcome to join in with any of our activities.

Your room will be furnished for you, but we encourage you to bring personal belongings such as photographs and soft furnishings to help you feel at home. There are television sets that you can watch in our common rooms, but you are welcome to bring you own television or radio if you wish.

Staying active and socialising is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. At Caroline Chisholm, we run a monthly activity program with activities such as arts and crafts, games, bus outings, movies and theme days.

Enjoying a variety of delicious, nutritionally balanced meals is not only an important part of maintaining good health, it’s an important part of your day. Our kitchen team provides fresh meals that are prepared at our home and served straight to you. We consult with dieticians and speech pathologists to support our residents’ clinical care without compromising on taste. We offer a choice of hot and cold meals, cater for clinical dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural requirements, special requests to mark celebrations and a special menu for a theme day each month.
