Bethel Aged Care is a led by a Facility Manager and Care Manager who are both Registered Nurses DIV 1 and bring with them many years of experience in nursing, management and governance. The owner / director comes from a medical background, having trained as a doctor through Melbourne University then at the Austin Hospital in Heidelberg.

Bethel Aged Care is fully accredited and was offered an additional 1 year extension in addition to its existing 3 year accreditation period due its excellent track record.

Our focus is on providing the best resident care we can and we continually train our staff to care for our residents as though they were their own loved ones. Many of our staff have been with us for greater than 3 years. We already exceed the Royal Commission's stipulated number of care staff minutes per day per resident. We have at least one Registered Nurse onsite 24/7.

Rooms are spacious single rooms with adjoining ensuites. There are also interconnecting rooms available for couples. Many rooms have pleasant views of our professionally landscaped courtyards and have ample natural light. All rooms have the latest nursecall system, ample storage for personal belongings as well as the option of a private telephone. All common areas are fully airconditioned and some bedrooms have private aircon.

There are lounges for various activities as well as a cinema room. There are also quieter sitting rooms and a private dining room that can be reserved for residents and families to have some time together.

Our secure courtyards are spacious and features fountains, ponds, barbecue facilities, vegetable gardens and fruit trees.

Delicious meals are freshly cooked on site by our chefs. The rotating menu offers a wide variety of meals created in consultation with our residents and dietitian. We are able to cater for various dietary needs including residents with diabetes or those who require vitamised meals.

Bethel Aged Care has a team of lifestyle and activities staff who truly have a passion for aged care. Specific lifestyle programs are designed for each new resident to help them achieve the best possible quality of life whilst in our care. These include visiting musicians, children from nearby schools, exercise programs, bingo, mens shed and art therapy. We also organise outings for the residents to shopping centres, restaurants and sight seeing.

We have an onsite commercial laundry to manage all general laundry needs. All clothes brought into the facility must be machine washable.

We are privileged to have a professional hairdresser visit us once a week in our custom designed salon.

We embrace the use of technology to help deliver the best care possible - from using electronic systems to do most of our documentation to administering medications to dementia friendly robotic pets.
